Check this page to keep up to date on shows and other events at Country Heritage Music Barn, which is at the east part of Country Heritage Music, 134 West Main Street (Highway 64) in downtown Clarksville. Our shows feature traditional/old time country, bluegrass, and gospel music. We have seating for about 200 people plus room for lawn chairs. Building is temperature controlled. Parking is available behind the building, on the street, and in the bank parking lot across the street (after bank business hours).
Our October Traditional Country Music Show is scheduled for Oct. 15-16, and will feature Johnny Bellar, Mike Webb, and Bill and Vickie Sky. Shows start at 6 PM both evenings and will run till about 9 (maybe later). Admission is $8 each day; $15 both days. Ages 6-12, $5. Under 6, free.
Johnny is also accepting students for his Dobro Workshop Sat. Oct. 16, at $75 per student if you pre-register by Oct. 10 with a $40 deposit (after Oct. 10 cost will be $90).
This is not our event, but we would like to mention that Johnny Bellar will be doing a Dobro Workshop at Art Reeds Artfolk Music Store in Branson, MO Nov. 19-20. Workshops will run 2-5 on Friday and 10 a.m. till 2 pm Saturday. Cost is $150 per student, with $75 deposit upon registration, and the balance due upon arrival. Country Heritage Music Barn is also the location for Bob Franklin's Clarksville Country Music Shows which are held the first and third Saturday of each month. This is a variety type show with a mix of newer and older country, bluegrass, gospel, comedy, etc.
With this show come some improvements to our building! Bob has installed 98 new plush theater seats, plus a popcorn machine and hot dog cooker, and some tables and chairs at the back of the auditorium.
